Hwabaraty pronounced "hwa-ba-ra-tea" (Japhet Mlauzi) is a multi faceted Zimbabwean artist and cultural ambassador who is passionate about sharing the African story through music, dance, and theatre.

Hwabaraty is a multi-talented musician and cultural ambassador, renowned for his mastery of African music traditions and their ability to create captivating musical experiences. With a career spanning decades, Hwabaraty has collaborated with esteemed institutions, renowned individuals, and impactful organizations around the world. Working on nationwide and global projects with Econet Global, Tribal Soul Arts, and The Swedish Embassy in Zimbabwe.

Having trained extensively in traditional African performance arts, Hwabaraty has shared platforms with Oliver Mtukudzi, Patrice Naimbana, Harold George, and other globally acclaimed artists. Hwabaraty has performed at prestigious venues and festivals, captivating audiences with his mesmerizing stage presence and soulful vocals. He has been invited to share cultural heritage and African folklore at renowned institutions, including cultural centers, and music conservatories such as WOMEX and The Intwasa Festival.

As a dedicated educator, Hwabaraty has conducted workshops and masterclasses for aspiring musicians, empowering them to explore the beauty and intricacies of African performance art. His commitment to cultural exchange and fostering understanding has led him to engage with diverse communities and initiate cross-cultural collaborations in Zimbabwe, South Africa, Mozambique, Belgium, and France.

Gogo MaPhiri (Precious Phiri) is a remarkable African Indigenous Healer, Artist, and Advisor whose transformative work bridges the realms of dance, song, and spirituality. With a profound connection to her African roots and a deep understanding of Indigenous African Spirituality, Precious empowers dancers to unearth their inner spirituality, enabling them to express their truest selves through the art of movement.

Born and raised in the heart of Africa, Precious Phiri's journey as a healer and artist has been a testament to her dedication to preserving and celebrating the rich tapestry of African culture. Her unique approach to healing and connection through dance and song has touched the lives of many, making her a renowned figure in the world of contemporary dance and spirituality.

Precious's passion for sharing her wisdom extends far beyond her local community. She has gained international recognition through her insightful contributions.
